Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services across multiple care settings including outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages and diagnoses within a critical access hospital environment
• Deliver specialized therapy services which may include wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs across outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings as required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska state Physical Therapist license required — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations
• Background in multi-setting therapy environments (outpatient, inpatient, SNF)
• Familiarity with specialized therapy areas such as wound care, lymphedema, or pelvic floor rehabilitation
