Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend hours required | 48-hour weeks available upon request

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across all patient populations in a high-volume, 40-bed Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective care in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize EPIC EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate as a team player within a multidisciplinary care team to manage a wide range of emergency diagnoses and treatments
• Adhere to all facility protocols, dress code requirements, and Pennsylvania state compliance clearances prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must complete Pennsylvania state clearances prior to start, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police (PATCH) clearance, and FBI/Department of Human Services fingerprinting
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
• Rapid start required — candidates must be available to begin within 2 weeks
• No holiday RTO requests will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification preferred
• Trauma experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center setting
• Critical care nursing experience
