Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room / GI (8hr Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | 5x8-hour shifts, Days (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-site | Call required (typically 5 days per 4-week period, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM; one weekend every 8 weeks) | Holidays required as needed | Floating to other units may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes in GI and OR settings
• Scrub for a variety of surgical specialties including GI, Robotics, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Ortho, Urology, and Plastics
• Utilize facility EMR system (Cerner) to document patient care accurately
• Participate in on-call rotation as required, including nights and weekends
• Float to other units within the facility as needed per department requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Pennsylvania (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of GI nursing experience required
• Demonstrated experience in circulating, scrubbing, and scope cleaning within a GI/OR environment
• Ability to scrub for multiple surgical specialties (GI, Robotics, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Ortho, Urology, and Plastics)
• Availability for on-call shifts, weekend rotations, and holiday coverage as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an OR or GI setting
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment
