Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in an intermediate/step-down care setting
• Document patient care accurately in the healthcare record according to established standards
• Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
• Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach with patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team
• Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies, procedures, quality improvement, and safety initiatives
• Maintain professional effectiveness through ongoing education and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State, or proof of Washington State license application submitted at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers are not eligible
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates must be willing to float as needed within the health system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic EMR experience, particularly within the past year
• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or step-down unit environment
• Two professional references from the past 2 years available at submission (at least one from a supervisor or charge nurse)
