Travel RN – Surgical Telemetry

Location

Lewisville, TX | Inpatient Surgical Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: October 26, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 19-bed Surgical Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
Perform and assist with ambulation of patients and wound care as needed
Operate Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs machines; document care using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with an RN/LVN/PCT team on day shift alongside charge nurses and patient care technicians
Float to sister departments including Ortho Trauma and Inpatient Rehab as needed

Required Qualifications

Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

Charge nurse experience
Preceptor experience
Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
