Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Rockford, IL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | On-Site | Days — Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with start times of 6:00, 6:30, or 7:00 AM (rotating). No holiday work expected; occasional Saturday availability may be requested.

Key Responsibilities

Perform clinical nuclear medicine procedures including gamma camera operation and image acquisition
Prepare and dose radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
Administer IV injections as required for nuclear medicine studies
Maintain and apply radiation safety standards throughout all procedures
Support PET/CT imaging procedures as needed

Required Qualifications

ARRT (N) or CNMT (NMTCB) certification required
Current AHA BLS certification required — RQI certifications are not accepted
Demonstrated clinical nuclear medicine experience
Proficiency in radiopharmaceutical preparation and dosing
Experience with gamma camera operation and radiation safety practices
Ability to perform IV administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

PET/CT imaging experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with rotating or alternate start-time scheduling environments
