Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Neuro setting within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 on day shift
• Utilize Meditech EHR for documentation and patient management
• May be required to float to units within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Work every other weekend as part of the expected schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Kentucky
• BLS certification required prior to start
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care facility
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neuro or neurosurgical nursing
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records
• Background in a facility offering cardiac care or advanced neurosurgery services
