Contract | Days | Rotating schedule: 2x8-hour shifts (06:45–15:15) and 2x12-hour shifts (06:45–19:15) per week | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Strong circulating experience required; scrub experience highly preferred across a high-acuity OR environment
• Support a high-volume OR managing 50–60 cases per day across 17 different surgical services, including Neuro, Ortho/Spine, Craniotomy, General (open/laparoscopic), Robotics, ENT, and OMF
• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients across all age ranges, from newborn through geriatric
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical platforms including DaVinci XI and SP equipment
• Participate in on-call rotation: expected 4 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule period with a 60-minute response time
• Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements as scheduled, including 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period; float within specialty as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Lead or charge RN experience in an OR setting
• CNOR certification preferred
• ACLS and/or PALS certification (American Heart Association only) preferred
• Experience with complex, high-acuity surgical cases and/or robotic-assisted surgery
