Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 13-week or 26-week assignment options available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a neurology focus, managing a variety of neurological diagnoses
• Utilize the NIH Stroke Scale proficiently as part of routine neurological assessment
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:5
• Float between units within the facility as operationally needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis and support holiday staffing as required by contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• At least 6 months of neurology experience required
• Valid RN license; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at the time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Prior travel nursing experience, particularly in a neurology or telemetry setting
