Contract | 12 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Projected Start: November 2, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Labor and Delivery unit with 14 labor beds, 2 ORs, 6 recovery bays, and 8 antepartum beds
• Manage labor patients at a 1:2 ratio and antepartum patients at a 1:4 ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, bilateral tubal ligations, D&C, and uterine tamponade devices
• Administer and titrate Magnesium and Pitocin drips per protocol
• Utilize GE EFM and CPN equipment; document using Meditech/Centricity Perinatal EMR
• Float to Antepartum and Postpartum (OB assignment only) as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Demonstrated labor management skills — candidates without this will not be considered
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required — candidates without this will not be considered
• BLS certification required
• Intermittent EFM certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to circulate in the L&D OR
• Positive, compassionate, and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced perinatal environment
