Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical conditions and diagnoses
• Maintain a staffing ratio of 2:1 in the ICU and 3:1 in the SDU
• Utilize Pyxis automated medication dispensing system for safe medication administration
• Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR
• Perform neurological assessments using NIHSS (required for all RNs)
• Adhere to facility infection control protocols, including wearing a mask at all times while in the ICU

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma Single State RN license or valid Compact Nursing License
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• Pediatric experience is required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – must be American Heart Association (AHA) issued
• NIHSS certification required
• Navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined adult and pediatric ICU environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR in an acute care setting
• Prior experience with Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems
