Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU (CPU) setting with a focus on intermediate to advanced acuity patients
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and interpret findings appropriately
• Initiate and manage IV access and related therapies
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to unit protocols, holiday scheduling requirements, and maintain minimal time-off requests, particularly around holidays
• Complete up to 8 hours of pre-start, non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream prior to assignment start

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (must hold or have verifiable proof that licensure process is actively underway)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of recent Stepdown/PCU experience
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV insertion
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates residing within 31–50 miles may be accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule with minimal time-off requests
