Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties within the operating room setting
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and adhere to facility protocols
• Participate in one 12-hour call shift per month (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior operating room nursing experience required
• Ability to fulfill call obligations, including one 12-hour call shift per month on weekends (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties
• Previous travel nursing experience in an OR setting
