Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, establish appropriate treatment goals, develop and carry out individualized physical therapy plans of care, and document evaluations and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Attendants in accordance with Ohio state laws and department guidelines
• Supervise and mentor volunteers and/or students in adherence with department work instructions and applicable professional guidelines
• Support departmental operations including in-service training, education, program development, and patient satisfaction initiatives
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to hospital isolation and protective equipment protocols

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Ohio
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, manage multiple priorities, and make independent decisions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience preferred
• Experience in an outpatient therapy setting
• Familiarity with patient satisfaction tools and quality improvement initiatives
