Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM coverage as needed) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Psych Emergency Department setting, with primary assignment to the psychiatric ED unit
• Care for all age groups across special populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
• Support STEMI and stroke protocols within a facility that includes a cath lab, women's health services, and stroke care
• Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Float to other system campuses as needed
• Complete and pass a required compliance EKG exam prior to or during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• STEMI and stroke facility experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with behavioral health or psychiatric emergency populations
• Familiarity with sepsis and oncology patient care protocols
• Experience in a high-acuity, multi-specialty emergency department environment
