Contract | Thursday–Sunday (2x8s & 2x12s): Thursday 1:30PM–10:00PM, Friday 1:30PM–10:00PM, Saturday 7:00AM–7:30PM, Sunday 7:00AM–7:30PM | No university holidays or on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment in accordance with facility standards
• Operate MRI equipment efficiently and coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging results in a timely manner
• Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and help patients feel comfortable before and during imaging
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Document all procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information
• Perform patient care tasks as needed throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Radiology, or a related field
• Minimum of two (2) years of MRI Technologist experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• GE scanner experience required — candidates without GE scanner experience will not be considered
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to stand for extended periods

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a similar credentialing organization; candidates willing to obtain certification after starting will be considered
