Key Responsibilities

Provide autonomous patient care within a Labor and Delivery/Antepartum setting
Perform cervical exams and triage assessments independently
Circulate for cesarean sections
Perform infant deliveries (baby catch)
Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using electronic fetal monitoring

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) – Intermediate or Advanced certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a non-teaching hospital environment
Demonstrated ability to practice independently with minimal supervision
Antepartum nursing experience
