Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | Projected Start: October 18, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit serving an adult and geriatric population
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 across an 18-bed unit
• Document patient care and assessments using Meditech EHR
• Float to other units as required based on facility needs
• Participate in weekly Monday orientations at the start of assignment
• Take ownership of assigned patients and function as a collaborative team member

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama or a compact state
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Willingness and ability to float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong team-player mentality with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to patient care
