Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5 days/week, Tuesday–Saturday preferred; 4x10 schedule may be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat 10–12 patients per day across Med Surg, Telemetry, ICU, and community hospital settings
• Provide physical therapy services to patients with diagnoses including post-op, ortho/total joint, stroke, cardiovascular conditions, and deconditioning
• Collaborate with PTAs and rehab aides who cover acute and rehab units
• Provide coverage in acute inpatient setting with potential for some acute rehab coverage as needed
• Complete onsite orientation at two facilities, with approximately one day at each location
• Adhere to weekend requirements of 2 weekends per 8-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Utah Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license must be submitted
• Candidates must be available and present in state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are conducted remotely
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous acute care experience is highly preferred
• Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is a plus
• Familiarity with treating post-op, orthopedic/total joint, stroke, and cardiovascular patient populations
