Contract | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 0630–1900 | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties across a high-volume OR environment handling 40–50 cases per day across 11 ORs and 1 hybrid room
• Support surgical cases including orthopedic (sports medicine, total joints, ortho spine), DaVinci robotic surgery, ENT, general, GYN, vascular, urology, and podiatry
• Participate in on-call coverage: 4–6 call shifts per 6-week period, 2230–0700, with a 30-minute response time required
• Adhere to scheduling flexibility — shift times may vary based on department needs on a weekly basis; availability 7 days per week expected unless approved otherwise
• Float to inpatient areas or the ER during low census periods; travelers will not take patient assignments, administer medications, or work outside their scope of practice during float assignments
• Utilize EPIC EMR and facility equipment including Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Washington
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute/inpatient Operating Room experience required
• Strong orthopedic experience required (sports medicine, total joints, and/or ortho spine)
• DaVinci Robotics experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic platforms (DaVinci, Mazar)
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Experience across a broad range of surgical specialties including ENT, GYN, vascular, and urology
• Strong soft skills including flexibility, teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude
