Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday | Start Time: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders prior to imaging procedures
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
• Position patients and perform CT and radiologic imaging procedures; analyze results and resolve image quality issues as needed
• Monitor patient condition continually and report or respond to changes in status as appropriate
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results; implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and CT required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in both Radiology and CT
• Must be willing to float between X-ray and CT departments as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Completion of a CT technology certificate program
• Prior travel assignment experience in a clinical setting
• Experience working in a community hospital environment
