CT Scan Technologist / Radiology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Rotating Call Required | 5x8s preferred; 4x10s may be accommodated (must be noted in submission)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all CT examinations and general x-ray procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Provide timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Conduct studies with and without contrast media, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and surgical/sterile procedures
• Operate CT processing systems and utilize EMR platforms including Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule as required

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
• Active New Mexico state license as a general radiographer required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of CT technologist experience required
• General and OB imaging experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR and Change Healthcare PACS systems
• Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient imaging environments
• Experience with biopsy and drainage procedures under CT guidance
