Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend hours vary | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hemodialysis (HD) treatment to patients in an 8-bed dialysis suite, as well as at the bedside in intermediate and ICU settings
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 within the dialysis suite and 1:1 for intermediate and ICU settings
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor patients requiring hemodialysis throughout the course of treatment
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system
• Respond to on-call requirements as needed per unit scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (degree required)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of hemodialysis experience
• CRRT experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing dialysis in ICU and intermediate care settings
• Strong clinical assessment skills with experience managing common dialysis-related diagnoses and treatments
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR
