Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during day shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations, with an acceptable passing score

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA BLS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• AHA ACLS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• Minimum of 12 months permanent employment experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large health system environment
