Travel RN – Stepdown Neuro (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every other weekend required | No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed neuro-surgical step-down unit with a 5:1 patient ratio, focusing on neuro, stroke, and neurosurgery populations
• Utilize Cerner EHR for all documentation and patient management — Cerner proficiency is required
• Operate Masimo vital sign monitoring equipment and respond appropriately to patient status changes
• Participate in unit float rotation as assigned
• Support unit capacity and continuity of care as part of a critical staffing need

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (minimum ADN required)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a step-down, neuro, or related acute care setting
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with neuro, stroke, or neurosurgical patient populations
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality with strong interpersonal communication skills
• Familiarity with Masimo vital sign monitoring equipment
