Travel: CT Tech – Evenings (5x8)

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Evenings, Monday–Friday 2:30 PM–11:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT scans independently at a technical level, including all necessary post-processing procedures on Vitrea workstations
• Operates and maintains proficiency with CT scanners, power injectors, and QC workstations
• Applies knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and 3-D imaging; utilizes PACS, HIS/RIS, and related computer systems
• Transports patients as needed and maintains universal precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment consistently
• Follows established downtime processes and upholds the integrity of the imaging archive
• Evening shift orientation is conducted on day shift; candidates must be available the entire orientation week

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT registration in both Radiography and CT required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with stroke and trauma patient populations
• Proficiency with EPIC, Visage, Vitrea, and Medicalis EMR systems preferred
• Flu vaccination or an approved exemption is required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with ER and inpatient CT populations in a high-volume hospital environment
• Familiarity with GE CT equipment
• Strong communication skills with a positive, compassionate, and confident bedside manner
