Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist – Afternoons (Contract)

Contract | Afternoon Shift | Expected 36–40 hours/week | Onsite | Float coverage across multiple campuses required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures, with an expected caseload of approximately 15–20 cases per day
• Operate Siemens Somotom and Siemens Go CT equipment in a clinical setting
• Document and manage patient records using EPIC EMR
• Float across multiple campuses as needed and scheduled
• Participate in on-call and callback coverage as required by the unit
• Adhere to dress code requirements: solid grey scrub tops and bottoms

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current/recent CT experience required; work history must reflect at least 24 months of CT/Computed Tomography experience
• Active Illinois Radiology License required at time of submission
• Iowa Radiology License required (may be applied for at time of offer acceptance; estimated 1–3 week turnaround)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• BLS certification from AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Experience with Siemens Somotom and Siemens Go equipment required
• CT-specific Skills Checklist required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
