Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to geriatric and adult patients on a 12-bed Acute Rehab Unit (ARU)
• Evaluate and treat patients with diagnoses including CVA, hip fractures, myopathies, and general debility
• Perform and assist with physical patient transfers using available lift equipment (Arjo)
• Document patient care and progress accurately using Epic EHR
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient rehabilitation goals
• Option to float to med/surg unit if interested

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active OT licensure or eligibility to practice in Texas
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Comfort and competency performing physical patient transfers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Familiarity with Epic EHR
• Adaptable, team-oriented personality well-suited to a fast-paced rehab environment
