CT Technologist – Travel Contract

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days – 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM | 12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures while supporting overall patient throughput and efficient workflow
• Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; follow downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate issues to the PACS administrator as needed
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel with timely follow-up
• Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, hospital, and regulatory policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts or locations as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT or NMTCB) required as primary modality certification
• Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT or NMTCB required
• Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PACS systems and image archiving workflows
• Basic computer proficiency in a clinical or hospital environment
• Familiarity with QA processes and image processing troubleshooting
