Unit Notes:AM: Kelly Brown & Vani Koduru Will accept local at $5 less per hour "I can t emphasize how quickly we need help for our busy chemotherapy infusion unit. Chemo certified would be phenomenal, however chemo infusion experience would qualify" Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30-5Friday 7am-Noon(usually done before that time)Of course, we would like some flexibility with the hours based on the patient schedules if possible. Chemotherapy infusion nurses are responsible for administering intravenous chemotherapy drugs and other types of intravenous therapies; and providing pre- and post-treatment patient care. 1.Assessing patients before IV treatments2.Accessing Ports or IV access peripherally for lab draws and IV therapies.3.Administering chemotherapy and other IV infusions- operate the equipment and monitor patients during treatment. Administering prescribed intravenous medications as well as oral pre-treatment medications.4.Monitor and respond to side effects or reactions and treating appropriately per protocols. We use Cerner and Intellidose (TxM) - previous experience would be a huge plus. It would be very helpful to have someone with previous chemotherapy infusion experience. Cancellation Policy:2 shifts per assignment less than 13 weeks and 3 shift per 13 weeks or longer Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:Monday - Thursday 7:30-5 Friday 7am-Noon(usually done before that time) Required Certifications:ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
