Description
This position primarily focuses on Labor & Delivery, requiring the RN to monitor maternal and fetal well-being, manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, and respond to emergencies. The role demands strong clinical judgment and communication skills while providing emotional support to patients during significant moments. The nurse will also administer medications, perform cervical exams, and interpret fetal monitoring strips, ensuring a positive experience for mothers and newborns. Experience in Labor & Delivery is essential, along with a willingness to float to the Med Surg floor when needed.
