Description
Come join our team through this fantastic opportunity to work with the three-to-five population in the Portland area, in the East Multnomah County area. We are seeking a Physical Therapist to work with children in early intervention /early childhood and are interviewing now for a maternity leave position for November to April! What greater reward than helping a child during his/her first several years of life?
* Full-time Physical Therapist for kiddos three to five years old in daycare, preschool, and home settings
* This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week
* PT will start in November
* Explore the nearby scenic wonders, less than an hour to the beach, mountains, or progressive large cities.
* Schedule is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Qualifications: You will need to hold an appropriate degree in Physical Therapy, and a current state license (or be eligible for same), as well as your own transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment of children's motor abilities in natural and educational settings
- Development of individualized intervention plans to support physical development
- Therapy implementation to address areas of weakness and improve functional mobility
- Environmental modifications to enhance children's participation in educational activities
- Parent/Caregiver education to support carryover of motor skills at home
