Description

Specialty: ICU RN
Start Date: November 24th, 2025
Shift: 3x12 Nights (6:30p–7:00a)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Hours Guaranteed: 36 hours
Locals Accepted: Yes (Local rate applies if within 75 miles)
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed
Floating Required: Yes (to all units except Behavioral and ER unless holding)
Scrub Color: Navy

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse provides critical care nursing services to patients with complex, life-threatening conditions. Candidates should have strong clinical judgment and be comfortable with advanced ICU technologies and interventions.

Unit Information:

  • Total Beds: 42 (East 20, West 22)
  • Neuro/Med: 22 beds | CTICU: 6 beds | Surg/Trauma: 14 beds
  • Common Diagnoses:
    • Neuro/Med: Stroke, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI
    • CTICU: CV Surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA
    • Surg/Trauma: Major Post-Op Surgery, Trauma
  • Specialty Equipment: IABP, CRRT (Prisma or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years recent ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
  • Charge Nurse experience preferred
  • Must have CRRT and Prismaflex experience
  • Heart experience highly preferred – manager prioritizing these submissions
  • Travel experience required
