Description

Job: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location: Abingdon, VA
Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour (19:30–07:00) | Schedule: 36/36 or 36/48, rotating weekends/holidays
Patient Ratio: 1:6 (days, nights, weekends)

Requirements:

Experience: 2+ years Med-Surg; previous charge preferred
Certifications: ACLS*, BLS, NIHSS, PALS*, OCN*
Skills: IV therapy, phlebotomy, central/peripheral line care, chemotherapy administration*, high flow O2*, tracheostomy, colostomy care, telemetry, wound care, post-op care
Hospital Experience: Community, teaching, LTAC, Trauma I/II preferred
Charting: Epic required
Travel: Not required, must reside >100 miles from hospital

Unit/Patient Details:

Patients: Adolescents–Geriatrics, Med-Surg, Ortho, Neuro, post-op, renal, endocrine, cardiac
