Description

🌙 Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) 🌙
📍 Location: Concord, Massachusetts
🕒 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
📅 Schedule: 36 hours/week | 3x12s | Every other weekend | Holidays required | No call
🔄 Float Requirement: Must be able to float to Postpartum as needed

🏥 Position Overview

Join our dynamic Labor & Delivery team providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the birthing process. This role requires a compassionate and skilled RN who can manage laboring patients, monitor fetal well-being, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and positive birth outcomes.

 

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
  • Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal condition using advanced fetal monitoring systems.
  • Administer medications and manage IVs per physician orders and hospital protocols.
  • Support and educate mothers and families through all stages of childbirth.
  • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams.
  • Float to Postpartum when required.

💼 Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts RN License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
  • Fetal Monitoring Certification – Required

Schedule Highlights

  • 3x12-hour night shifts (7p–7a)
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Holidays required
  • No on-call responsibility
