Job Description:
Insight Global is recruiting for an LPN. This person will assists registered nurses in patient care, adhering to the client scope of practice and policies. This role provides safe and compassionate care for patients and families, including those facing health maintenance, illness, hospitalization, procedures, or diagnostic testing. Responsibilities include performing vital signs, recording medical history, conducting phlebotomy, point-of-care testing (such as finger sticks with certification), and EKGs. The LPN administers medications and injections in accordance with the client guidelines and state regulations, supports patient flow and escorts patients, and ensures charts and lab/test reports are available for physicians. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and support for nursing staff and providers are essential, as is maintaining compliance with HIPAA, patient safety, and institutional policies. The LPN completes annual competencies in areas like fire safety and hazardous waste, serves as a brand ambassador to promote excellence in patient experience, and embodies the FGP Service Strategy CARES (Connect, Align, Respond, Ensure, Sign-Off). Additionally, the LPN applies the LEARN model for service recovery, which includes listening, empathizing, apologizing, resolving, and notifying as needed.
