Job Description:
Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality patient- and family-centered care. The RN must be able to scrub, circulate, and assist in the recovery room as needed. Effective communication with all members of the perioperative team is essential. The nurse must maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Skills:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Maine
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
For PACU: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for all full-time/part-time employees (may obtain within 6 months of hire)
For PACU: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required for all full-time/part-time employees (may obtain within 12 months of hire)
Minimum of 1 year of perioperative experience
Basic computer skills
CNOR certification preferred
Must be able to scrub general and orthopedic cases

Specialty: Nursing
Sub-Specialty: Operating Room / Circulation & Scrub
