Day-Shift Registered Nurse – Adult Emergency Department (with Pediatric & Cross-Campus Float)
Facility Type:
High-volume acute care hospital, Level 1/2 trauma center (or equivalent)
Shift:
07:00 – 19:30 (7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.)
Includes every other weekend and some holidays
Role Summary / Objective:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the Adult Emergency Department (ED), with required flexibility to float to the Pediatric ED and other cross-campus Acute Emergency Departments (AED) as needed. The ideal candidate is experienced with both adult and pediatric populations, comfortable working in a dynamic, high-acuity trauma environment, and proficient with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Epic.
