Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel ICU/CCU Registered Nurse to join our team on a temporary assignment. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Coronary Care Unit (CCU), ensuring high-quality care in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, drips, and life-support equipment.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses to treatment, and progress.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and family members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital and unit protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and perform advanced life support procedures as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) required.
• License: Current and valid RN license in the state of assignment (or compact license).
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or CCU experience in an acute care setting.
• Travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
