Required IMC experience. Preferred ICU/ IMC experience who can manage 4:1 PT ratio.

Requirements

• Licensure: Active RN License – Compact or MD License Required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent IMC/PCU/Stepdown experience – Required
• Travel Experience: Required (First-time travelers not accepted)
• Patient Ratio Experience: Comfortable managing 1:4–1:6 ratios
• Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred

Certifications

• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• NIHSS – Required

Charting System

• Epic – Required (Recent experience mandatory)

Core Skills & Competencies

Critical Care & IMC Skills

• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (titration required)
• Central, arterial, and peripheral line care
• Blood product administration
• Ventilator and tracheostomy management
• Chest tube care (Emerson/PleurEvac systems)
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) and CPAP/BiPAP management
• Post-cardiac catheterization and TR Band management
• Management of insulin and heparin drips
• Rapid response and Code Blue participation
