CT / Radiology Technologist – Rapid Placement Location: SageWest Health Care Start Date: Within 2 weeks of offer Shift: Nights – 7 on / 7 off Position Summary Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the CT / Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic CT and radiographic examinations utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Key Responsibilities: Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness. Obtain, verify, and update medical history; assess patient risk factors such as medications, pregnancy, and psychological indicators. Explain exam procedures, potential side effects, risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients. Set up and operate imaging equipment to acquire accurate diagnostic images. Review images, document exceptions, and communicate relevant data to the radiologist. Recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies. Provide post-care instructions as prescribed by the physician. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to patient care, safety, and workflow efficiency. Provide training and guidance to students, residents, and new technologists. Be available for on-call or standby coverage as required. Perform Radiologic Technologist duties as needed. Facility & Role Requirements Certifications: ARRT Certification in both CT and Radiology (must be attached to submission) BLS (American Heart Association only) (must be attached) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent CT and Radiology experience Must be able to work independently Equipment Proficiency: Experience with GE CT and X-ray machines required Schedule: Nights, 7 on / 7 off Additional Notes: Rapid placement – candidate must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer.
