Description

Job Description – CVOR Scrub Nurse (Open Heart Experience Required)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Scrub Nurse to join our team in our Pre-Screen Unit at a tobacco- and fragrance-free facility. The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years of CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience, with open-heart surgical expertise, and proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record documentation. Certification in BLS is required.

Schedule & Requirements:

4 × 10-hour shifts, typically 06:00–16:30, with alternating days off.
Call duty 1-2 days per week, with a 30-minute response time requirement.
Weekend coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend, defined as Friday 16:30 through Monday 06:00.
Holiday coverage as needed; expectation to work at least one major holiday.
Floating between units as needed; may include caring for COVID-positive patients.
Return to Office (RTO) requirement: maximum of 7 days onsite before reassessment.
