Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU/STEPDOWN
- Shift: Night 3x12.0
- Supervises: Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees

- Adheres to hospital guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality
- Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
- Develops individualized plan of care and identifies patient/family teaching needs
- Provides timely patient information for Initial and Re-evaluation Team Conferences
- Documents assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
- Participates in patient rehabilitation programs
- Utilizes nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate
- Initiates discharge planning and patient teaching from admission day
- Communicates changes in patient status to care team
- Delegates and supervises ancillary nursing personnel
- Ensures personal and environmental safety per policies
- Contributes positively to unit functioning and team building
- Maintains communication with manager and senior staff regarding supplies, equipment, and training
- Provides care in a cost-effective manner while promoting quality outcomes
- Assumes charge responsibility after orientation as requested
- Pursues professional growth through continuing education and self-study
- Prioritizes activities and staff effectively to meet patient needs
Performs additional duties as requested
Required Skills/Certifications:
- BLS Certification prior to first shift
- ACLS (CIRH ONLY) prior to first shift
- Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience highly desired
- Epic EMR experience required
