Description

Schedule & Work Environment:

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 AM – 03:00 PM)
Patient Ratio: 1:5 during days
Daily Census: Approximately 20 patients
Unit: Mammography Unit (7211)
Work Setting: Outpatient, using Hologic 3D Mammography machines and bone density equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform screening mammograms and bone density exams.
Maintain and submit copies of licenses, certifications, proof of continuing education, and mammogram statistics.
Adhere to safety and quality assurance procedures, including digital quality assurance and equipment calibration.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams and ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1 year in mammography preferred
Certifications:
- ARRT M and R (preferred)
- BLS (required)
Skills:
- 3D Mammography
- Digital Mammography
- Screening Mammograms
- Digital Quality Assurance Procedures
Licenses: Valid PA License or Compact License (required at submission)

No travel required; local candidates accepted at travel rate. No specific charting experience required. Must complete required modules prior to entering the facility. Background check and compliance with hospital policies are mandatory.
