Description
Schedule Notes:
36 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Weekend may be needed based on the needs of the house
Required - Certification in Infection Control, RN License, and BLS
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-MN Registered Nurse license.
-Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (American Heart Association),(Red Cross) or (Military Training Network).
-Willingness to complete a basic infection prevention and control training course within the first six months of entering the role.
-Certification in Infection Control (CIC) will be required within Three (3) years from hire if not previously certified.
-Expected to maintain CIC once achieved.
Required Education:
-Graduate of a baccalaureate Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program.
OR
-Graduate of a baccalaureate Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited nursing program.
-If graduated from a nursing program that was not accredited by ACEN or CCNE, at least one (1) year of RN experience (within the last five (5) years) in an applicable care setting is required.
-Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program with successful experience as a Registered Nurse and at least one (1) year of RN experience in long term care.
