Description

RN – Critical Care Float Pool (Nights | RN-ICU)
13 Weeks | 7p–7a | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays

Overview:
Float RN supporting multiple ICU environments within a Level I Trauma Center. Must be confident with high-acuity ICU patients and rapid-paced float workflow.

Requirements:

2+ years recent staff ICU experience (travel not included)
Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred
Must have Cardiac, Surgical & Neuro ICU exposure
Previous ICU float experience required
Epic experience REQUIRED
Must provide supervisor reference from staff role

Float Areas:
Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ICU-level patients boarding in ED/PACU.

Certifications:
BLS, ACLS (required) | CCRN strongly encouraged

Local Restrictions: Effective 1/11/2024, facility will not accept candidates from the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.
