Description

Title: Pharmacy Tech – Inpatient

Location: Berlin, VT 05602

Duration: 16 weeks

Shift: Day, 5x8 (06:30–13:30) Mid, 5x8 (13:30–21:00)

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements – General

Support inpatient pharmacy operations, including medication preparation and distribution.
Assist pharmacists with sterile compounding, medication reconciliation, order verification, and related tasks as permitted for a pharmacy technician.
Maintain accurate documentation, ensure proper handling of medications, and follow safety/sterile procedures.
Provide support in managing medication inventory and unit dose packaging.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in a hospital environment.
Must meet facility requirements including sterile compounding competency tests (e.g., fingertip and broth tests).
Must meet math competency expectations related to medication calculations.
Reliable transportation required due to lack of public transit and winter weather conditions.
