Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Case Manager RN for a 13-week contract in the Los Angeles area. This role requires strong inpatient case management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a heavy workload with minimal orientation. Candidates must be punctual and prepared for city traffic, as attendance and timeliness are strictly enforced.

Start & Orientation Dates

• Start Dates: 12/10 or 12/17
• Orientation Dates: 12/10 or 12/17
• Credentialing: Requires 2 weeks (10 business days)

Requirements

Licensure & Certifications

• Active California RN license
  • If expired: must be renewed
  • If applying: candidate should contact state representatives to expedite
• BLS
• LA County Fire Card

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience
• Recent inpatient case management experience required
• Previous Kaiser experience required
• Strong, clear communication skills
• Able to handle a fast-paced, busy workload with limited orientation
• Travel experience not required; local travelers accepted
• Previous employees terminated from KP will not be considered

Additional Details

• Works every other weekend
• Patient ratios follow California state guidelines
• Possible float to an off-site location within 10 miles, one week at a time
• No on-call requirement
• RTO: Up to 4 days maximum
• Scrubs: Royal Blue or Navy
• PPE provided; fit testing available on-site
• EMR: Epic (Kaiser-specific version)
• Heavy inpatient case management workload (travelers typically receive higher caseloads)
