Description
RN - Emergency Room (ED)
Location: 900 23rd Street NW DC 20037
Shift: 3 x 12s night shift or am/pm rotation
Description:
3 x 12s night shift or am/pm rotation
travelers must be willing/able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN and willing to take 1:5 ratios
• NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS & ACLS – Required
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required
• ER Experience - Required: 3 Years
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
• BSN - Highly desired
• Cerner Experience Required
The ED is a fast paced environment that treats every type of patient.
The ED nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood and chest tubes.
Patients range from urgent care (simple procedures) psych, pediatric and critical care/trauma patients.
Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing care needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
