Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Location: Charleston, SC 29401
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day or Night 3x12-Hour | Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU (PICU) nursing experience required.
Certifications: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association certification only).
Licensure: Valid South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State License required.
Skills:
- Proficient in pediatric emergency medications (e.g., anti-seizure meds, IV vasopressors, and pediatric dosage calculations).
- Experience with ventilator management, chest tubes, and central line/PICC line care.
- Expertise in interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) and managing critical care patients in a pediatric setting.
- Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred.
Other: Ability to float within the hospital as needed; every other weekend required; flexible with scheduling requests (with manager approval).
